Wall Panels for Shops, Cafés and Offices
How retail, café and office owners use wall panels for brand backdrops, softer acoustics and easy-clean surfaces, from RM25/sqft.
In a commercial space, a wall is never just a wall. It is the backdrop to every customer photo, the surface behind the counter that staff lean against all day, and the thing that decides whether a busy room feels lively or simply loud. Wall panels give shop, café and office owners a way to set the tone of a space quickly, using materials that stand up to daily use.
What a feature wall does for a business
It tells people who you are
Customers judge a place within moments of walking in. A dark slatted wall says something different from a gold marble backdrop or pale timber planks. Choosing the panel is choosing the mood: relaxed, premium, playful or efficient.
It gives you a photo spot
For cafés and boutiques, the wall behind the counter or a corner booth often ends up in customers' photos. A textured, well-lit panel wall makes that backdrop look intentional and keeps your interior recognisable.
It handles wear better than paint
Bags, chairs and shoulders scuff painted walls. Panels can be wiped with a damp cloth, so a busy wall keeps looking tidy between renovations.

Matching panels to the type of space
Cafés and restaurants
Hard floors, glass frontages and full tables make cafés noisy. Slatted acoustic panels help soften that clatter so conversations are easier, while adding warm, vertical texture.
Behind the coffee bar
Areas near sinks and espresso machines see splashes. PVC panels are water-resistant and wipe clean, which makes them a sensible choice for walls close to the working side of the counter.
Retail shops and boutiques
In retail, the wall supports the products. Marble-look panels in Black make jewellery, cosmetics and light-coloured goods stand out. Gold suits a softer, upmarket look, and Silver keeps a clean, gallery-like feel. Fluted panels behind shelving add rhythm without competing with the stock.
Counters and cashier points
A marble-look panel on the front of a counter gives the till area a polished face, and the gloss PU surface wipes down easily at the end of the day.
Offices and meeting rooms
Open-plan offices and glass meeting rooms carry a lot of echo. Acoustic slat panels on one or two walls make calls and meetings easier to follow. Reception areas often combine a branded acoustic or wood wall with a marble-look counter to greet visitors with something memorable.

Practical points for commercial walls
Plan around signage and fittings
Let us know where your logo sign, shelving brackets, menu boards, sockets and lights will go. Panels can be cut around fittings, and planning this early keeps joints clean and avoids patching later.
Think about access
Commercial units differ a lot in access: ground-floor shophouses, mall units with loading rules, offices on high floors. Site access is one of the things that shapes a quotation, so mention any building requirements when you enquire.
Acoustic specification is quoted per job
Every room behaves differently, so we quote acoustic specification for each project rather than applying one fixed build. Tell us how the space is used and how busy it gets, and we can talk through the options.
Absorption, not soundproofing
Acoustic slats reduce echo within a room. They are not designed to block sound travelling between units, so mention it if separation from a neighbour is your main concern.
